Hey hey, Mr Choo Ken Loon..
last year write jor one zhai post you happy or not?
not happy, now I write another one for you la..

I have been giving myself a thought, after seeing more people from all walks of life, having different kinds of living style etc. Why leh, why I prefer to stay at home so much leh?

Haha..
Not to blame anyone la.. but I find my family has been giving me the influence to that I prefer not to go out de lo.. and also to be so computer savvy..

Come..
I got in touch with something we call desktop today at the age of 8-9 I believe. It's a Compaq (ahhh, those days, Compaq is like among the best, then now, is bought by HP to manufacture low line product..)..
So, I start to learn how to use computer lo..
play minesweeper.. pinball...
that was Windows 95..
Then, I started to know what is internet when the Dell desktop is bought at 2001 (I always feel the price bought is very excellent, it was RM2,188 and that's an absolute bargain because we got a decent processor and more importantly, a 17" monitor!)..
(Actually, the Compaq can use internet, but it was like very expensive last time..)
ehe, but I started to use internet extensive is like when 2002-2003...
well, thank to Jagex for developing RuneScape.. Rune-Scape, not Run-Escape..
hahaha...
so, jiu start to be a bit more internet savvy where I know how google works, how to use this and that..
also picked up a text-only online game, hattrick, which further exposes me to internet.. getting more and more savvy...

But the outbreak happens when my house finally got broadband..
At that time, I got online almost everyday and has constant friends to chat about.. (stupid chat la.. last time...)
So la.. now think back...
It's like I have been online for very long..
My chat archive is from Feb 2007 if I am not mistaken!!

But getting hooked on anime also got influence la...
where I started to know how to download anime, drama all that..
give me the name..
then I can find your the download link.. (95% success rate ba.. or higher)
and also when I learn BitTorrent on my own..
Back to those days, all those BT client is not configured nicely, I went on in reading lots of FAQ and tutorial only to configure nicely.. that my BT can work and reach max speed (I still remember I naively thought that my torrent can go beyond 100KB/s but in fact, it's 60KB/s.. and after that, I told others "upgrade your internet la" when they asked me tips for better speed..
but now.. all torrent de client is very nice liao la.. no need configure.. install can use!

But where does all my time come from? that I can spend on online and internet..
Well, you know me de la..
hahahaha.. bit lazy.. and then homework.. secondary school no need do de ma..
and then, I know how to manage my time de.. finish all necessary work before using the internet..
and then.. last time internet is time based de, not unlimited time access..
so, I very smart.. whenever online, I must download.. (to save bandwidth ma..)
once finish download, must start another download, or off earlier.. etc..
haha..

and I remember I was cinderella last time..
12am must off.. my mum will start to make a lot of noise when it approaches 12am and the noise built up very quickly once 12am..
I made record before though.. that I off on 12:4X am.. that's when my mum got sicked and can't control me liao.. hahahaha...

ehe, still didn't address why I got so much time..
but you see my mum so control me...
I really hardly go out..
so most of the time at home..
at home see tv, do homework... then nothing to do, online lo....
and thus.. I am like 秀才不出门，能知天下事...
yup yup..
that's how I accumulate my knowledge because I do reading online, I watch TV..
instead of hanging out around.. in the boring PD............................. dot dot dot!!

ahhhhhh
nearly forgot...
I got hooked on Pokemon Blue also..
that makes my butt stick on computer chair even more!!
"who never play pokemon before..."

so..
you see..
I find my own world in computer..
and don't get to go out so frequently..
(even now, I have curfew of 12am that I still adhere strictly on.. even if it's that I went down to PD to yumcha..)
and then my bro introduce me naruto leh..
somemore my house got broadband.. (among the earliest in my friend)..


so la..
become zhai is not my fault..
