So far in Year 2

Hey hey, I believe most of you know that my new semester starts during this week, and more accurately, Monday 28th Sept 2009. And this new semester will mean a new academic year for me, which means I have completed my Year 1 and did quite adequately, scoring a modest 80 on average and hoping to keep it up for my following years of study!

And so, my Year 2 seems to be a little bit more challenging and yes, a lot more exciting it will be!
Have an introduction for the brand new subject we face, Structural Vibration 1 and the lecturer, Mr Hazem seems experienced in teaching. Hopefully, this will be a subject where I can gain marks on and possibly, develop liking on!

And then, from Solid Mechanics 1, now I have Solid Mechanics 2, and next semester Solid Mechanics 3! This time, Solid 2 will be delivered by a brand new lecturer to the department, Dr Belal Yousif, hopefully it will not be as tough.

Then also got Thermodynamics 2, delivered by the beloved Dr Yousif, a lecturer whose I like quite a lot. But he seems nervous during his lectures so far, hopefully things will go smooth on him and he manages to perform at his best!!

And then the ever challenging Design & Manufacture 2. Dr Aravinthan seems to be giving us some mental preparations about the challenge it will come up in this module, a 30 credits module. Hopefully, the spring cart will give us a good start that will continue throughout the module and hence, a good mark can be obtained!

Somemore got Management Studies A, bit boring... and you can't imagine how fast one can go for one slide, it's like less than one minute per slide! And the one doing this is Dr Amir..
Not sure if he's good or not, but he will appear in future as well, so, it's wise not to be enemy with him!

Last but not least, seems that I will not be pampered anymore in Maths. The Maths module, Calculus and Differential Equation for Engineers is not an easy module as I thought it would. Good lecturer is delivering an excellent teaching, but at a same time, a fast pace teaching. No more listen a bit, read a bit, then understand by myself story already because listen must listen everything, or else you will get lost!!
Come on, Maths lai de ma.. what I scare!!

So, that's all for this semester, hopefully I can sail through it nicely and in a victorious way!

It's 1st October. And there it goes, three quarters of 2009, and here I come, the last quarter of 2009.
